The new study year at the Institute of Military Education.

On the 1st of September, at 9:00 a.m., the personnel of Military Education Institute was involved in the university-wide dress parade on the SibFU Library square. All students, cadets, officers and teachers were congratulated on the 1st of September day by the Chairman of the Krasnoyarsk region Legislative Assembly, the President of SibFU Uss Alexander Victorovitch and by the Rector of SibFU Vaganov Evgeny Alexandrovitch.

At 10 a.m. the Military Education Institute conducted the meeting dedicated to the start of the study year and the 63th anniversary of the Krasnoyarsk Radio-electronics Command Military Air Defense Academy establishment. Under a countermarch the State Flag of the Russian Federation and the Colours of Homel radio-technical, airborne surveillance Air Defense Academy were trooped on the drill square.
On the festive events officers and students were congratulated by:
- Director of IME Colonel E.N. Garin.
- Reserved Colonel V.S. Kunchev.
- Retired Colonel M.M. Runda.
- Reserved Colonel A.A. Zherikov.
- Reserved Colonel A.N. Fomin.
- Reserved Colonel A.V. Chernenko.
- SibFU IME 2012 graduate Lieutenant E.V. Kakotkin.
To complete the ceremonial events the tour of the classrooms and the military equipment of the institute was made for veterans of the Armed Forces.
