The Fatherland Defender’s Day.
25.02.2013  On the 23rd of February, 2013 in honour of the Fatherland Defender’s Day there was a wreath-laying ceremony and flowers to the Eternal flame of the Victory Memorial in Krasnoyarsk. The event was attended by the governor of Krasnoyarsk region Lev Vladimirovich Kuznetsov, the mayor of the city Аkbulatov Edham Shukrievich, the Great Patriotic War veterans, the region organizations.
Officers and cadets of the Institute of Military Education represented the Siberian Federal University.
In the memory of the fallen soldiers and officers died at the battlefields in actions for the native land, all presenting persons revered the memory of fallen heroes with a minute of silence. In honour of all soldiers protecting the Fatherland, a guard of honour made a gun salute.
