The action founders — the Ministry of Education and Science of Krasnoyarsk region, the Ministry of sports, tourism and the youth policy of Krasnoyarsk region, mobilization department of the governor of Krasnoyarsk region. The organizer of competitions — the Siberian Federal University.
Competitions are hold to improve quality and efficiency of young generation training for carrying out military service duties, wide involvement of students to physical training and going in for sports directed on strengthening of health, preventive methods from pernicious habits and offences, familiarizing with the major events of the Fatherland history.
The governor - Lev Kuznetsov took part in opening ceremony of the competitions "All of us is ready to serve Russia!" devoted to the Fatherland Defender’s Day. The head of the region congratulated participants of the competitions with the coming holiday and noticed that patriotic education played the major role in each person’s life.
Hereafter the Governor visited a technics ground of the Institute of Military Education of the SFU where he got acquainted with weapons and special forces equipment, did exercises on shooting from АK-74 in an electronic gallery, visited lecture halls of radar arms, small artillery range and an exhibition of special forces weapon and equipment where he disassembled and assembled AK-74 automatic riffle in person.
The program of competitions included competitions in shooting, automatic riffle stripping, swimming, chinuping, shuttle running, all-service protective gear dressing, and also a quiz on the theme "Great Patriotic War History, the Stalingrad fight". 24 teams took part in the action from cadet corps and other educational institutions of Krasnoyarsk region. The competitions came to an end on the 22nd of February, with rewarding of winners.
