Congratulations on the start of the new academic year!
05.09.2013  On September 2, at 9:00 a.m., the solemn meeting devoted to the beginning of the 2013-2014 academic year, as well as to the 64th anniversary of the formation of the «Krasnoyarsk High Command Radio Electronics Academy of the Air Defense Forces» was held at the SibFU Institute of Military Training. 185 first-year students took their places in the solemn formation shoulder to shoulder with the fifth-year cadets.
Honored guests and executive personnel of the SibFU IMT congratulated the Institute faculty, officers, cadets, students and visitors on the start of new academic year and the 64th anniversary of the Radio Electronics Academy founding, namely:
- Metropolitan Archbishop of Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk Pantaleon;
- Member of the Legislative Assembly of Krasnoyarsk Krai Yuri Shvytkin;
- Vice President of the SibFU Eugene Garin;
- Deputy Head of the Department of Krasnoyarsk Administration for Coordination of Civil Defense, Emergencies and fire safety, Major-General in reserve Nikolai Ivchenko;
- Honored wrestling coach of Russia Mikhail Gamzin;
- the Air Defense Forces veteran , retired lieutenant colonel Gregory Kostyuchik.
At 6.00 p.m. the «Evening of Freshmen» took place on the SibFU area №1, which was attended by our cadets. Chairman of the Krasnoyarsk krai Legislative Assembly, the SibFu President Alexander Uss, as well as rector of the SibFU Evgeny Vaganov congratulated all freshmen on the beginning of the new academic year. Also at the «Evening of Freshmen» the Institute of Military Training presented its own exhibition with the exhibits brought by a search party "Yenisei" from places of the WW2 battles in the Volgograd region, as well as, with the samples of training weapon.
